This new trailer for the movie, however, has lots of footage of the super hot Kristin Kreuk.The trailer also has lots of whooshing sound effects. Actually, the entire trailer is comprised of whooshing sounds. I’m starting to believe that Kristin doesn’t speak at all in this movie. Every time she opens her mouth, it’s just going to be a whooshing sound effect....

Gather ’round, ladies and gents: we’ve got some hockey video for you. Today, 2K Sports sent over the first trailer forNHL 2K9, this year’s installment of their annual ice hockey series. There isn’t much to say about it — it’s less than half a minute long (not including pre- and post-trailer logos and such), and it looks like, well, videogame hockey. It mostly comprises a standard-fare barrage of great goals, stupendous saves, crushing checks, and devilish dekes, though there are a couple of takeaway points....

This September will see the release of EA Sports’ first hockey game on the Wii,NHL Slapshot. We already know a good deal about it, but in this developer diary, the game’s senior producer, Joe Nickolls, goes through some new stuff. Check it out above! Insomniac has chosen the winners of its skin design contest for the upcomingRatchet & Clank: All 4 Oneand… oh my god, what the hell did they do to Ratchet!? First-place Ratchet winner Alejandro David Gonzalez of Texas flayed the poor Lombax for the contest. His skin design — which ironically features no skin at all — along with other winners (including aResistance-inspired Clank skin) will appear inAll 4 Onethis fall. WithMortal Kombatseeing its currentlevel of success, it shouldn’t come as too shocking a surprise that New Line is working with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to make a full-blown movie. The film, set for release in 2013, will be directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the same guy who did theMK: Legacyvideos. “The new game and the online shorts prompted us to consider a reboot of a brand we hadn’t been actively thinking about,” explains New Line president Toby Emmerich....

It’s been a long time since I’ve used a good flight stick. Even more time has passed since I’ve put a good one between my mighty thighs. When Mad Catz sent Destructoid Saitek’s hot Aviator flight stick, I sprung on the opportunity to review it. While I enjoyHAWXorBlazing Angelswith a controller, nothing beats what a good flight stick can provide for the action experience. I wasn’t disappointed with the stick. It’s an affordable gizmo that works as advertised, however, it does have a few issues that may or may not be a deal breaker for potential consumers....
