Last week‘s developer debate was one of the largest discussions we’ve ever had. The pros and cons of Valve versus id Software were bounced back and forth for a full week and both sides received large amounts of support. We’ve been watching the Xbox 360 Hard Drive situation. After that Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 bundle came out, we were sure a 205GB separate drive would be released. But it didn’t come. Later,Aaron Greenberggave us a bit of hope for one. Last week,Xbox Japanannounced that they would get the 250GB drive for over $170. Now here’s one more sign pointing in that direction: a price drop on the 120GB....
I’ve been chatting to Nintendo this week aboutKirby’s Epic Yarn, and was informed that the inspiration for the gamecame from a stop-motion movie. I wasn’t told what the movie was, and for some reason it was implied that developer Feel-Good didn’t want to tell anybody. As weird as that was, it seems that the “stop-motion movie” in question may not have been a movie, but an old commercial for a past Kirby game....
[Update: FirstPlay has issued a correction (viaCVG) to its preview, stating that the information about a four-player cooperative mode in Killzone 3 is “erronous.” “”Unfortunately the Killzone 3 preview contains a piece of erroneous information about a four-player co-op mode which isn’t present in the game. It was something that had been rumored that we mistakenly picked up on as fact. Apologies for that, especially to Guerilla for whom this has been an annoyance,” the statement reads....
