X-Men: Destinywas announced earlier this year, and I somehow missed that it was being developed byToo HumanandEternal Darknessdeveloper Silicon Knights. Well… it is! Not content with all of its big VGA reveals, Spike and GameTrailers TV aired a new teaser for the title last night. It doesn’t show much of the game itself, but it does hint at a visual style. It also reveals a handful of X-Men that will appear in the game, which is mostly comprised of the usual suspects....

Starting on February 15, the standaloneGuitar Hero World Tourdrum kit and guitar controllers will be taking up absurd amounts of space at a game retailer near you. If money is no object to you when it comes to plastic instruments, you shouldn’t mind dropping $99.99 onthe drumsor $69.99 onthe guitar. Then again, you’d probably just throw a wad ofcash at IONif money wasn’t an issue. I made a vow to never again by music game peripherals as long as my current ones are still functioning and remain compatible....

During my preview of thenewTeam Fortress 2map, gametype and Medic weapons, Valve showed off the new “Meet the Scout” video. Before watching this video, I always thought of the Scout as the weakest member ofTeam Fortress. Now, I’m totally afraid of him. Seriously, don’t bonk with the Scout. “Meet the Scout” is the fifth in the Meet theTeam Fortress 2soldier series. It started off with theHeavy Weapons guyand his love of his giant gun....

So I’m pretty sure that developers just make racing games so they can test drive and sit around in rare, expensive cars they could probably never afford. At least the guys at Eden Games, the developers of the upcomingTest Drive Unlimited 2, are fortunate enough to do so. But it’s not as if they’re just hanging out around fancy cars, they’ve actually put in a bit of work. As detailed in this latest developer diary (where they actually do get to sit around in fancy cars), Eden’s devs say they scrapped its racing engine fromTest Drive Unlimited, starting over from scratch for the sequel....

Ever been curious as to how Microsoft handles or regulates the Xbox 360 achievement system? Well the guys over at Gamerscore Blog figured you were and gave a nice and detailed explanation of the whole process.Check it out: 1. All regular disc-based games MUST have 1,000 Gamerscore in the base game. This means that any consumer who buys a retail game will have the opportunity to unlock the full 1,000 Gamerscore without having to pay for any add-on content....

I think there were over 200 clips in all, hence the two videos. The amount off cosplay on display here is astounding. There’s also a fair share of crossplay (cross-dress costume play) as well, which I think is awesome. It takes a lot off guts to go out in public dressed as your favorite videogame character....
