Like many members of the Destructoid staff, I am finding constant enjoyment fromLeft 4 Dead. While it’s not a game of the year contender for me, I certainly can’t deny that it’s a lot of fun, and one of the best co-op experiences I’ve ever played. Unfortunately, I don’t PC game. I’ve just never been comfortable with a mouse and keyboard setup when I game, even when it comes to first person shooters....

Yesterday, Namco officially announced the worldwide launch ofi Love Katamarifor Apple’s revolutionary handheld devices, the iPhone and the iPod Touch. The game can be downloaded on iTunes right now for $7.99. This mobile edition ofKatamariisn’t extraordinarily unlike theKatamariwe’ve grown to love on consoles. Instead of using analogue sticks to control the katamari, players will have to tilt their phones. Thankfully, Namco apparently targeted precision as one of their priorities – an icon on-screen assists turns that require more than just tilting....

Here’s a vignette released to promote the upcoming videogame adaptation ofIron Man 2. It contains footage and interviews with Don Cheadle and Samuel L. Jackson centered around their voice acting work inIron Man 2. That’s the game, not the film, although Cheadle does get into some of the differences between voice acting and film acting. The thing I love about this video is that it shows Samuel L. Jackson’s commitment to the Nick Fury character....

The fact that Square’sMindjackis coming out next week blows my mind, especially since I keep forgetting that it exists. That’s not to say that it might not be a great game; hell, I’m willing to give anything a chance. It’s unfortunate that the game has an incredibly generic vibe, from its name to its look, and these new screens aren’t doing it any justice. Robots, some guns, I think I see a laser in there somewhere…...

And now for your ogling pleasure: the poster for the Takarazuka musical version of Phoenix Wright,Gyakuten Saiban: Resurrected Truth.As you can see, our favorite characters above are most certainly played by ladies, as I reportedback in September. The poster’s tagline reads “Can you believe the person you love… Can you keep on believing…”. That hardly seems to have anything to do with the Phoenix Wright that I know, but watching a cast of women play out a love story as they pretend to be men has got to be interesting....

In the latest Microsoft press release, the platform publisher talks big about the success of Xbox LIVE Arcade this summer. Peopledownloaded the1 vs. 100clients like crazyand, overall, the publisher saw a 200 percent monthly revenue growth from last year’s Summer of Arcade program. Last time we walked into a K-mart we didn’t notice a special rumor — “this could totally be here, we swear” — section. The hype continues to pay off for Guerrilla’s PlayStation 3 exclusive,Killzone 2. The gritty FPS has seta new sales record, clearing 500,000 sales quicker than any first-party PS3 game to date. Last night on Backlog, we started up Swery’s stealth espionage game,Spy Fictionand I’m impressed with it. Even though I made practically no progress, a good time is still being had. I’m playing as Shella, the female agent who can disguise herself as absolutely anyone in the game. That sounds really impressive, but it seems that it might lead to a little bit of gender confusion as seen in the above video (lovingly highlighted by Testycanoe)....

Time once again for Backlog, the epic tale of a mustachioed man with more games than sense. I’ve been playing Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom for about four hours now. More than one of those has been spent running back and forth across already completed sections of the game because I didn’t know what to do next. That’s… probably not the best endorsement of the show, now that I think about it....
