New screens pop up for Wizardry: The Wedge of Life for DS

Some of you may recall back when I did my review ofThe Dark Spire, a little dungeon crawler for the DS that dealt out dungeon crawling and punishingly hard difficulty in equal doses. Of course, some of the inspiration for this game (and for more dungeon crawlers than I can count) was Sir Tech’s original Apple II gameWizardry. There’s a new title in the series coming for the Nintendo DS, and Famitsu recently published new screens for it (which you can check outhere)....

No R.I.P in W.O.W

World of Warcraft refuses to stop wowing me. In September of last year an overlooked piece of code spread anonline plague across its serversthat countless people enjoyed spreading much to the chagrin of Blizzard. Players thought it would be nice to have a memorial for him by logging into his account, taking his character to a lake, and setting it up for everyone to come and pay their respects....

Pac-Man spotted on a British runway

I’m not much of a fashion guy. I think the most fashion forward thing that I own is a brown sweatshirt. But these models clearly have their fingers on the planet’s collective style pulse. As you can see, these lovely ladies have forgone crazy hairdos and feathery hats for a more extravagant headpiece, one which requires the eyes of a quarter-chugging 80’s joystick gentleman to notice. Do you see what I see?...

Postal: The Movie; light-hearted satire or the next The Satanic Verses?

The creators of thePostalseries have always been fans of pushing the envelope of good taste. Describing them as a less satiric version of Matt Stone and Trey Parker would be pretty accurate, although there are a number of fourteen year olds whocouldconfuse using a cat’s anus as a silencer for a rifle assome kindof satire. Then again, fourteen year olds, by default, have a horrible grasp on satire, irony, and almost everything Dennis Miller has ever said....
