Sometimes I like to challenge myself and do something that’s a little different, a bit unusual, when it comes to the things that I write. So, whenCasually Hardcoree-mailed and asked if we’d be interested in reviewing some of their gaming-related fashions, I figured I’d give it a shot. Minutes later, I thought, “How the hell do you review a t-shirt?” That question has been plaguing me for many weeks now, as I wore the shirts and tried to ponder exactly what it is one can say about this kind of product....

We were linked to the “999999999 in 1 Super Game” console byengadget, and then did our own advanced level internet matlockery to find more details on this amazingproduct. The internationalproduct pagedoesn’t actually list what games the system includes, and I doubt that there are a billion games out there (the system is 8-bit), but at least there’s clear ABS plastic! The page for this product, called Latest Video Game, does make a point to clarify that the system is “without copyright problem,” even though Mario’s moustached visage can be spotted on the game cartridge’s upper left hand corner....

It’s been a tedious week for gaming news, and with today being Good Friday, things aren’t about to speed up any time soon. Because a greater portion of my time is spent talking about videogames than actually playing them, it’s pleasant to be able to clock out early and spend the rest of my day in a digital world. It’s practically become tradition that when you post an image of Jesus on the Internet, it has to depict Christ as a raptor or a zombie, or somehow relate to either of those two themes....

C.O.P. The Recruitis the upcoming open world sandbox game from developer VD Dev and Ubisoft. The game sees you playing as an ex-uderground racer who has been given a second chance at life as a street cop. It’s pretty impressive whatC.O.P.is able to do on the DS hardware. A huge map based on New York, tons of cars, over 60 missions, some good third person shoot ‘em up action to a bunch of other features....

Telltale Games has single-handedly proven that the episodic games model can work. TheSam and Maxepisodes have been consistently released on time, they’ve been hilarious and fun, and they’ve served as a great success for both Telltale and the distribution format they essentially created. All that in mind, I sat down to interview Kevin Bruner, CTO of Telltale, aboutSam and Maxand the episodic model in general.
