Courtesy ofFamitsu.com, we bring you the above clip: footage direct from Nintendo’s recent conference where they dropped all thosehuge announcementsyou’ve been hearing so much about. Of course, the text on the clip is in Japanese thanks to its origins, but at least you can see the games that your fellow Nipponese brethren were privy to.Upon watching the clip, I was struck by a few thoughts:WiiFitlooks much less idiotic when clad in business attire and brightly colored hospital booties....

Fashion Review: T-shirts from Casually Hardcore

Sometimes I like to challenge myself and do something that’s a little different, a bit unusual, when it comes to the things that I write. So, whenCasually Hardcoree-mailed and asked if we’d be interested in reviewing some of their gaming-related fashions, I figured I’d give it a shot. Minutes later, I thought, “How the hell do you review a t-shirt?” That question has been plaguing me for many weeks now, as I wore the shirts and tried to ponder exactly what it is one can say about this kind of product....

Finally a 999,999,999 in 1 Chinese game console ‘without copyright problem’

We were linked to the “999999999 in 1 Super Game” console byengadget, and then did our own advanced level internet matlockery to find more details on this amazingproduct. The internationalproduct pagedoesn’t actually list what games the system includes, and I doubt that there are a billion games out there (the system is 8-bit), but at least there’s clear ABS plastic! The page for this product, called Latest Video Game, does make a point to clarify that the system is “without copyright problem,” even though Mario’s moustached visage can be spotted on the game cartridge’s upper left hand corner....

Friday Night Fights: Religious holidays edition

It’s been a tedious week for gaming news, and with today being Good Friday, things aren’t about to speed up any time soon. Because a greater portion of my time is spent talking about videogames than actually playing them, it’s pleasant to be able to clock out early and spend the rest of my day in a digital world. It’s practically become tradition that when you post an image of Jesus on the Internet, it has to depict Christ as a raptor or a zombie, or somehow relate to either of those two themes....

Friday Night Fights: RoboCop Babby edition

On the off chance you haven’t seen this utterly relevant, super rad rap video that summarizes the downfall of Detroit as portrayed in the real-life documentaryRoboCop, you are welcome. I caught the film on IFC last night, and was reminded of the greatest quote of all time: “b*tches, leave!” Clearly I won, because Joseph is nothing but a big “babby” who can’t “frigth back.” New to FNF? Read this: Each week, a bunch of Destructoid readers and usually an editor or two get together to play some videogames online....

Friday Night Fights: The wild bunch

It’s the week beforeRed Dead Redemption, as you’re all probably aware by now. I’m telling you this in hopes that typing the phrase out will help me to stop thinking about the potential Wild West adventures I’ll soon be having with my online posse of ne’er-do-wells. Because as it stands, I can’t get these fantasies out of my head. How collectively violent will Brad Nicholson and I be toward Rockstar’s plentiful collection of virtual animals?...
