A few weeks ago, we discussed Koei’s plans to move into digital distribution withSamurai Warriors 2: Xtreme Legendscoming to Xbox Live. Today, Koei has officially announced the plans along with the release date of March 21. Currently no price has been confirmed. As I said before, digital distribution is the perfect route for Koei to take. Offering expansions to the main games as DLC instead of separate games is far less offensive to those sick of the constant milking, and they can no be defined properly as downloadable content rather than confusing the average gamer who sees nothing but bizarrely titled Koei games on a store shelf and doesn’t know what to go for....

TheFroggerrip-off will debut on November 17 and cost a whopping 1200 Microsoft Points — it may be time to start thinking about adjusting prices to match quality, people. It’s hard enough to imagine why anyone would chooseZapperto be an Xbox Original, let alone trying to picture someone paying $15 for the game....

Perhaps it’s not said like that, but I really wanted an excuse to confuse the ancient saying for this particular situation because it applies. Aww, yeah! Hundreds of new levels on the Steam version ofSuper Meat Boy? You know what that means — Super Meat World, the hub for user-made levels, has arrived. As shown above, the intro even kicks it forever-alone style; after seeing it, I couldn’tnothelp spread the word. Similar to the Xbox Live Arcade version’s Teh Internets, you’ll need to have earned at least 20 bandages in-game to unlock this portal. It’s not completely finished yet, but it mostly works, the levels are as sinister as you’d expect, and it’s a good chance to play asSuper Potato Boy....

Duke Nukem has a twenty-year history, which sounds pretty impressive until you remember that more than half of that has been spent in the developmentDuke Nukem Forever. While Duke himself is never humble, his beginnings were as evidenced by this new video. Yesterday, wegave you a first look— in words and pictures — of Vogsters upcoming third-person massively online multiplayer game,CrimeCraft. But we know that most of you are lazy and probably scrolled through the article, looking at the pictures yelling “TL;DR.” Which is weird, because shouting “tee ell semi-colon dee arr” would probably turn some heads. So don’t do that anymore. The trailer does a good job of showing off the game’s Unreal Engine 3-rendered environments, which will be the battle ground for gang violence and turf wars....

As wasindicated a few months ago, significant changes have come to the PlayStation 3 version ofAlone in the Dark. The changes are not only insome of the gameplay mechanics, but also the name. Atari would like to introduceAlone in the Dark: Inferno. The game will feature an enhanced camera system, which will allow for 360 degrees of rotation. It will has have tighter controls, quicker inventory management, and improved driving. Atari also fixed up the “59th Street” level to include an added checkpoint and better directions....
