New X-Blades trailer has bipedal wolves and still not much clothing

Destructoid is dedicated to bringing you up-to-the-minute news onX-Blades‘ clothing situation and we are here to report that once again, everything is still pretty skimpy on the garment front. This time we get to watchX-Bladesin half-naked, cel-shaded motion. As you can see, it’s looking quite stylish, and there is still more flesh on display than is sensible. I know ifIwas fighting against anthropomorphic wolves I’d at least put a shirt on, but then I’m not a videogame character....

UK retailer Play.com recently brought interesting news for fans of child-faced girls in bikinis who fight zombies forsome reason. It recently listedOnechanbara 2with a February 2012 release date, hinting at yet more half-naked undead ridiculousness in the future. We contacted D3 Publisher for word on what this title could be and whether or not a brand new game was in the works, and heard back from Michael Cerven, who said that his company would love to make another one, but has nothing to say for itself at the moment....

PAX/Leipzig 2007 Combo Breaker! CTZ and David double team Haze

Hamza CTZ Aziz Hazeis bananas — at least, that’s what Rob Yescombe was saying about the game before people could get their hands on this PS3 title at PAX. Up until this past weekend, I had no idea whatHazereally was. Sure,we’ve postedabout thegame quite a fewtimes, but I just never paid much attention to. It’s safe to say now though, after having some hands-on time with this game, it’s going to be a most own for me next year....

PAYDAY: The Heist rescues criminals from bridges

A new trailer forPAYDAY: The Heisthas emerged, detailing the “Green Bridge” scenario. On this stage, players will need to apprehend a criminal transport van and rescue a convict from the hands of police. It looks suitably intense, and seems to capture something we’ve seen in crime thrillers so many times. Although the game isn’t graphically stunning, the concept is terrific and the game looks like a load of fun. I can’t wait to finally try it out for myself....

Mad Randy’s at it again! Plastic Chris Redfield still jacked, still ready to kill

Flickr user Clarkent78 is no stranger to toys, especially those inspired by popular videogames. He’s also a pretty sharp photographer, fancily snapping photos of his action figures in front of videogame-themed set pieces. This late afternoon, we caught the toy collector’snew photostream(viaGoNintendo) featuring a bendableResident Evil 5Chris Redfield action figurine going all CHRIS REDFIELD underneath some sexy lighting inside of a few (perhaps) hand-created environments. If the Redfield stuff tickles you, check out his Sephiroth and Kratos images....

PlayStation 3 version of Left 4 Dead 2 listed by EA (Update)

Somebody at Electronic Arts enjoys watching PlayStation 3 owners squirm and post angry comments over the Internet. Currently, the publisher’s officialLeft 4 Dead 2Web sitehas a listing for aPlayStation 3 versionof Valve’s upcoming shooter. Better yet, the game is scheduled as a “Fall” release with the PC and Xbox 360 versions. We’re guessing this is an accidental listing and have contacted some knowledgeable people about it. Valve Softwareisn’t in love withthe PlayStation 3 hardware — they’ve made it known on several occasions and probably aren’t gearing up for a full release on the platform....

Podtoid 108: minus Jim, plus someone who isn’t Jim

“There comes a time…when one finds himself correcting the shading on the breast of the Faye version of Samit…that a man has to consider what decisions in his life have taken him to this moment.”– Grievetrain Podtoid 108 will deal with two or three random news stories, and hopefully a lot of listener questions. Jim won’t be around as he’s presumably too busy preparing for his Aaron Linde rubdown session, but we’ll probably find someone to replace him in time....
