The Destructophone has been inundated with calls today from people keen to tell us thatDuke Nukem Foreveris (sigh)rumored to be releasedin 2008. That’s right, a 3D Realms “insider” (sigh, again) is claiming that the vaporware classic is finally going to see the light of day. In other news, I saw the Easter Bunny this morning. He looked at me. Apparently the game is being given an “over the edge” look and is now “pepped up with attitude....

Flash-based Plants vs. Zombies is tiny, still awesome

For a while,Plants vs. Zombieswas everywhere you looked. People wouldn’t shut up about it — myself included — but sure enough, the pure gaming excitement everyone was dispensing finally died down. Now that PopCap has put out aflash-based versionof the popular, uh, lawn defense game, will the cycle continue? I hope not. Don’t get me wrong, I lovePlants vs. Zombiesto death, and in the process of getting a screenshot for this article I lost track of time in a matter of minutes, but I’m worn out from last time....

Game Debate to the Death! Zangief VS Chun-Li

My annual trip to Myrtle Beach has left me with lost luggage and a transfer ticket to a propeller plane that looks less powerful than my fork-mangling dishwasher. As soon as I reached the beach I immediately ran out to the sand and carved out my S.O.S. call to the tourist planes above, but by the time I ran up to my condo’s room to see how my finger font turned out, someone had changed the distress signal to L....
