In thelast debatewe discussed whichHalo 2multiplayer map was our favorite, and this week we’re finishing the fight. For the main level debate we had votes cast evenly for just about every level, except for the one that won by a complete landslide. The bonus question about everyone’s favorite weapon in theHaloseries was much more even though, with the plasma grenade, needler, shotgun, pistol, and sniper rifle all coming close to the winning weapon....

Bad breakups have caused some of the most awkward and terrifying situations in my life. One of the worst involved a girl who just couldn’t let it go. She would call my phone every 20 minutes, bring her car to a crawl in front of my house, and pelt my window with rocks during the evening hours. GameFly reminds me of this girl. Earlier last year, I cancelled my GameFly subscription....

I owe a lot of my gaming addiction to my Dad who always had a new game for me each weekend I came over to spend with him. One of those great games he received free from his friend was calledGobliiins.Gobliiins, the three “I”s standing for the three goblin characters you got to play, was a neat puzzle/adventure game developed by Coktel Vision and published by Sierra in 1992. The story was simple: three goblins are sent on a mission to return their King’s sanity after a dark force uses a voodoo doll to drive him mad....

Yes, you read that correctly — 171 games are on sale right now at Good Old Games. Upon seeing the announcement in my inbox, I thought I was delirious and wasn’t seeing straight. Turns out Iwasdelirious, but the number was totally right. There’s a nice landing page for the promotionright herethat lists the recommended games, although if you know what you’re looking for, they also break it down by genre. These discounts range from 25% – 40%, and the sale itself will run through January 3....
Yeah, the Nintendo DS ships with a stylus, but who needs it? Not Vicarious Visions, developer of the upcoming “why in the hell?” title,Guitar Hero DS. Talking toGamesAreFunfrom the Austin Game Developers Conference, Vicarious Visions’ design manager Adrian Earle revealed that the stylus will not be used as the game’s primary input. Instead, they’re currently working on an peripheral that they claim we’ll “absolutely love.” Earle also reveals that they’ll be maintaining the graphical style of the series, which points to the 3D look we’re used to....
While there wasn’t enough support forHoly Invasion of Privacy, Badman: What Have I Done to Deserve This?to warrant a release on UMD in North America, it’s been discovered that the quirky PSP dungeon builder will be included with the retail versionof the sequel. NIS America might have quietly announced this bundle before, but I didn’t hear anything on the matter. That’s where this handy product listing on Amazon comes in. It’s gotall the juicy details....
This is probably good for a chuckle. It portrays a terrifying vision of the future in whichJersey Shoreis licensed and produced as a videogame. Thankfully, the blow is softened somewhat by how clearly it’s satire. Still, I wouldn’t recommend giving anybody at MTV any ideas. I haven’t watched an episode ofJersey Shore, so I probably shouldn’t criticize. I can definitely see how some might find it entertaining, that possibility of such a perspective exists and is clearly supported by evidence of the show’s success....
