For $1.99, how can younotpurchaseAliens vs. Predator Classic 2000on Steam? That’s the very same question I’d be asking myself right about now if it weren’t for the fact that I already own the game. Sure, it hasn’t aged particularly well, but all in all there’s certainly still fun to be had for those that take sufficient time to look. Simply put, scurrying around as a xenomorph for a few minutes until you tragically get pumped full of lead is worth the two bucks....
On September 15, Square Enix will release a special, Japan-only Wii collection of the first threeDragon Questgames to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series. The set compiles both the original NES versions and the SNES remakes, which boast improved graphics and sound. There’s also a special 130-page reprint of a book of articles from manga authors about their fond memories of the series, as well as a special commemorative 25th anniversary gold medal, complete with its own brown pouch....

My eyes are telling me to forget about real life;Battlefield 3is where it’s at. While the single-player portion put on display at EA’s press conference was stunning from a visual perspective, no question, the segment dragged on more than it should have. The multiplayer, though? I literally just got back from amarathon eight-hour sessionofHalo 3multiplayer beta play and boy are my arms tired … rimshot. No, but seriously folks, it was pretty much a wonderful night. I’m sure you’ll see a ton of video and impressions soon, if not now, but coming from me, this game lived up to expectations. For those worried it may not improve or at least maintain that same strong online and gameplayHalohas been known for, worry not my little underlings....
