Honestly, I’m not very familiar with Firefly Studios’ PC real-time strategy title Stronghold: Crusaders. 2360: Battle for Cydoniais a really fun little shooter that makes good use of the iPhone’s unique interface. It’s free thanks to thefreeappadayinitiative and it’s definitely worth snapping up while it remains gratis. Rather than try and recreate twin sticks,Cydonia‘s little mech walks along a line that you trace on the screen, and shoots in two directions determined by where you tap. Simple but effective. The only real downside toCydoniais its somewhat slow pace, but it’s well crafted, looks good, and should provide shooter fans with a solid little treat....

Sony has unleashed a brand new multiplayer trailer forKillzone 3,and it looks bloody epic! The video shows off what we have come to expect fromKillzone— lots of guns and orange-eyed gas masks. However, it also reveals that the multiplayer mode is finally getting some vehicular love. One surprising aspect ofKZ2‘s multiplayer is that it lacked any of the vehicles found in the campaign.
