Voice actors for Shattered Dimensions sound off

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensionsmay already be on store shelves and we may have alreadygiven it a review, but that doesn’t mean that the marketing has to stop. The video above proves this point by delivering a rundown of the charming actors who lent their voice to Spidey this time around. All of them are veterans of the web slinger, and according to Nick’s review they do a great job. Really, I wouldn’t have posted this if it hadn’t been for Neil Patrick Harris being involved....

Why Sega stopped making consoles

Sega has come a long way from the golden days of booting up the Genesis and hearing the familiar singsong “SAY-GAH!” Whether that long journey has been up or down is a source of dispute among many gamers, but I think its safe to say the existance of this product is a strong vote for down. Sega’sHot Summer Toilet Rollcomes in your choice of red, blue or black (I’m not sure how this matters since it will be covered by a roll of ass paper, but ok)....

Why threatening to shoot up your school on Xbox Live is a bad idea

I’ve heard my fair share of stupid filth from the mouths of gamers on Xbox Live, but one Frostburg State University student just topped ’em all by getting charged with two misdemeanor counts of disrupting a school operation because of athreat he madeon the Internet. While playingCall of Duty 4online,Allieu Shaw(thanks for the link, Lawl) talked about “shooting up the school” and also managed to let out “how he was going to do it....

Wii is the most expensive board game on Earth, claims Sega

If you’re one of the many people who claim that the Wii is only played for a day before gathering dust on a shelf, thenSega has your back. Unlike you, however, Sega actually means it as a roundabout compliment. Sort of. When giving his thoughts on the Wii, Sega A&R’s head of content Darren Williams believes that: “… The Wii has become the most expensive board game on Earth – it’s the kind of thing that families will play at Christmas, and probably won’t play again throughout the remainder of the year....

Wii Remotes help you feel holograms

Holograms have always disappointed me. This is mostly because they’re nothing like what they are in science fiction. Where’s the hologram that can go horribly wrong and trap me in gangster era America with the safety protocols somehow broken? I demand holograms that can kill me, and until they exist nothing is going to satisfy my hologram needs. I clearly have a long wait, but we are one step closer as some scientists in Japan have created tactile holograms and part of the process involves using Wii Remotes....

You can curse me anytime: new Cursed Mountain screens

After seeing these screens, I can’t even begin to wrap my head around the fact thatCursed Mountainis going to be on the Wii. That’s not a cheap stab at the Wii, either — it’s just that these screens look really great, and I don’t normally look to my Wii for a solid horror experience (although I’m still waiting patiently forFatal Frame IVor whatever it’s going to end up being called)....

YTMND Thursday: Denis Dyack draws the line!

Thanks to Qalamari for some of the links. What were your favorites this week?...

A closer look at Dante’s Inferno pre-order NECA figure

Electronic Arts sent over a fancy little Dante figure (seen above, absolving my cat of her sins) today, the same one you’d receive for pre-orderingDante’s Infernoat shops like GameStop. There’s a reason I don’t work for our sister toy site,Tomopop, and it’s because I don’t know much about action figures other than “cool” and “not so cool.” From what I can tell, this NECA-produced figure falls into the “cool” category, especially for a pre-order item....

A Halo virgin does it for the first time

For a hardcore retro fan,Halois the enemy. And not the oh-I-am-just-not-a-big-fan-of-that-game kind of enemy. No, retro fans thinkHaloactually is the devil and the main thing that is wrong with videogames today. Trust me when I tell you, we have had many passionate discussions about this exact topic onRetroforceGO!They have almost turned violent. So, it goes without saying that I have avoided playingHalolike the plague after all these years. But after crossing my arms like a baby and refusing to play the game, I was finally, unceremoniously pushed over the edge by Destructoid community memberDexter345....
