Spike TV books Foo Fighters for the 2007 VGAs

The current state of videogames on cable TV is poor at best. Rarely does the medium get coverage outside of mainstream news reporting on the latest killing spree and then getting an “expert” to play the blame game. There’s always G4, but even a channel devoted to gaming is susceptible to moving towards completely unrelated shows. When December finally comes around, Spike TV’s Video Game Awards takes the center stage. It’s become obvious that many of you self-proclaimed “hardcore gamers” despise the show for one reason or another, while the more easy-going gamers out there that avoid reading about videogames online or in print can find enjoyment in the show....

Take Two tells EA to suck it (but maybe they can talk afterwards)

Not so fast, EA. Your plan for world domination may look good on paper, but you failed to realize that you would have to test it on real people! (evil laugh echoes throughout the courtyard) BWAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! Phew. Anyway, by now you may have caught the drift thatTake Two refused EA’s offer for a buyout, although this is technically not the first time. Team Fortress 2 Heavy update detailed and dated

I mentionedearly last monththat the nextTeam Fortress 2update would be based around the Heavy and his trusty minigun Sasha, and it seems that Valve has finally finished it up.
