The game features a 24 map Campaign mode with four feuding factions — the Freemen, The Empire, The Pirates, and The Cartel — fighting for land and natural resources. Admittedly, this kind of turn-based gameplay is not for me....

The surprise E3 Xbox LIVE Arcade game turned out to be none other thanDouble D Dodgeball(800 Microsoft Points). I’m sorry to disappoint, but if you think this is anything likeDead or Alive Xtreme 2, you’re sadly mistaken. Simply put, it’s a retro-style 8-person dodgeball title withSpace Giraffe-esque visuals. The second XBLA release for this week isCoffeetime Crosswords(800 Microsoft Points). It has got more than 150 puzzles of varying skill level, as well as co-op for 2 players....

During this year’s Penny Arcade Expo, D3 Publisher was nice enough to take the time out to show us a bit of the upcomingDragon Blade: Wrath of Firefor the Nintendo Wii. They let us “get our swing on” and channel a bit of dragon power in this Wii exclusive title. Someone had to make a Wiimote whipping, sword-style hack-an-slash, and the makers ofDragon Blade: Wrath of Fireseem to have accounted for everything you’d want to add to a title like this....

It’s been a long time since a proper “kids” cartoon really spoke to me as an adult, but I recently discoveredAdventure Timeon Cartoon Network and found myself quite taken with it. Q-Games has addressed a number of issues with its latest,PixelJunk Shooter 2, with a patch that has gone live. The update fixes, changes, and adds a number of new things, all of which are detailed over on thePlayStation Blog.
