TheHitmanseries is finally back. Agent 47 is ready to kill again for the right price and he has some new abilities to aid him in his murderous ways inHitman Absolution. As IO Interactive showed us in the world premier of the game though, Agent 47 is having a bit of trouble with the law. The hands-off presentation saw the anti-hero in an abandoned library somewhere in Chicago. The place was crawling with cops as there’s a statewide manhunt FOR Agent 47 and the best of all, you start off with no weapons or tools to aid you....

The short story is thatKinect Star Warsis exactly what you’re expecting. You’ll wave your arm to swing your lightsaber, extend your palm to use the Force, and jump up and down and lean forward looking like an idiot to progress. They’ll tell you that this game is not ‘on rails.’ Trust me:Kinect Star Warsis on rails. I don’t dislikeKinect Star Wars. It’s a fun experience, for sure. If you’re aStar Warsfan, you’ll likely get even more out of it than I did....

At Microsoft’s E3 press conference, Crystal Dynamics was on hand to reveal the brand newTomb Raider, and to say that Lara will be put through her paces is putting it mildly. The game starts with Lara falling down a shaft, slamming her side into rock, and yanking out a shard from her ribs (with contextual button mashing), The aim of the game is survival, with Lara using her “suvival instinct” to highlight interactive parts of the environment....

Recently, gaming’s Nostradamus, Michael Pachter, confirmed that Rockstar North was working onGrand Theft Auto V. In the same statement, Pachter said that heexpectedGTA Vto drop at some point in 2010 or at the latest, 2011. Interesting. We decided to reach out and see what another analyst thought. Enter EEDAR’s director of analyst services. Analyst director Jesse Divnich agrees thatGTA Vis happening, however, Divnich isn’texactlybuying Pachter’s timeline. According to Divnich, Take-Two’s 2010 portfolio is off the chain, and if theAgentdrops in the same year,GTA Vcould “cannibalize” sales of the new IP....

In an effort to constantly provide the player with something slightly different, the backend seamlessly stitches together user-made sections of track for you to race across. Fairytale Fights, the game which mashes together children’s bedtime stories and puts vicious and bloody twist on them, has had its release date announced today. Playlogic will be dropping the game on October 23rd in Europe, followed by North America on October 27th. A PC release is currently slated for 2010. Ben Perlee liked what he saw in our recentpreviewof the game, noting its attention to detail in the bright, cartoonish environments and a considerable amount of gore....

Bethesda has just sent us the boxart and details on theFallout 3Game of the Year edition, set to release on October 13th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. In it, you’ll find that all five of the DLC packs released up to this point are included: The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will sell for $59.99, while the Games for Windows version will go for $49.99. During E3 last week, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Universal Pictures quietly announced a videogame based off of the film,Wanted. Chances are high that you’re sick of “Runner” games by now — most mobile gamers will have played a billion of ’em. Nevertheless, I still have plenty of time for the genre, especially when kick-ass games likeDalton the Awesome(iOS) appear. Daltonis a fairly simple runner since all you do is jump over obstacles and enemies. Its slick visual presentation, cool music, and fun power-ups make it quite the compelling little ride, though....

Jump Packis a neat little game that doesn’t tread too far from the likes ofDoodle JumporMega Jump, but adds a neatRocketeervisual flare and plenty of unlockable content. Oh, and it’s free today, which is nice!
